Full Bore Rifle
This is rifles with a calibre greater than 0.22 and can be shot on the 50M or 25 yard ranges so long as the ammunition falls within the range safety limits for muzzle velocity and muzzle energy. There are regular competitions within the club for full bore rifle disciplines.
The club also arranges shooting days at the ranges at Altcar near Formby where members can shoot at upto 600 yards all year round with a 1000 yard range available during the Summer. |
