Muzzle Loading Pocket Pistol
This discipline isa 13 shot standard on the 6 lane B Range using NRA PL7 targets set at 6 yards.
There are about 10 pocket pistols owned by members, calibres range from .170 to .44. This is an usual discipline to shoot and is great fun.
Current competitions are 'Slow Fire' 2x 13 shots on PL7 cards, MLAGB rules, and 'Timed' being 13 shots onto one PL7 card. Each shot has a maximum time allowence of 3 seconds, again MLAGB rules apply.
The club has a muzzle loaders code of practice which any person wishing to shoot ML on the club ranges has to pre-qualify. |
